Generative AI is a technology that creates text, images, or other data, such as chatbots or content processing tools. Meta* makes money from these products through revenue-sharing agreements with companies that use its open-source Llama* models. The company has also launched an API for customizing these models and plans to monetize its Meta AI* AI assistant through advertising and subscriptions, Mark Zuckerberg said on the Q1 earnings call.
