Forza Horizon 5 has arrived on PlayStation 5, bringing a major content update.
Racing game enthusiasts with PlayStation 5 consoles have reason to celebrate today. Forza Horizon 5 , the acclaimed title from Microsoft that originally launched on PC and Xbox in late 2021, is now available for PS5 in early access. Players who purchased the Premium Edition can start playing immediately, while Standard and Deluxe Edition owners will gain access on April 29.
With the release of Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5, Playground Games has rolled out a major update called Horizon Realms . This update revives some of the top content from past Evolving Worlds updates and introduces a new Stadium Track. Additionally, players can unlock new vehicles and purchase the Nissan Retro Rides Car Pack, available now on Steam, Microsoft Store, and PlayStation Store.
The Horizon Realms update features the following reward cars:
- 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto
- 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato
- 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430
- 2022 Hennessey Mammoth 6×6
Achievement hunters can look forward to unlocking 17 new achievements and 45 in-game accolades.
The PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 5 comes packed with all previously released content, including the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions, Car Pass vehicles, Backstage cars, paid DLC car packs, and additional modes like The Eliminator and Hide & Seek . New players can find a helpful starting guide on the official Forza website, where Playground Games developers provide tips for navigating the expansive open world of Horizon Mexico.
To access the Horizon Realms update, players will need to unlock the Horizon Playlist. This can be done by completing the opening sequence, finishing one of the available Horizon Stories, and earning enough accolades by participating in in-game events on the map to unlock three outposts.
