Bug Fixes and Enhancements Arrive in KDE Plasma 6.4.3

The KDE team has officially released version Plasma 6.4.3 , delivering a range of important bug fixes and performance enhancements across its core components — including KWin, the Plasma Desktop, and Wayland support.

This update was rolled out as part of the regular maintenance cycle and aims to improve system stability, user experience, and compatibility for both new and long-time users.

 

🔧 Major KWin Updates: Better Stability and Input Handling

A large portion of this release focuses on improvements to KWin , especially for users running the desktop under Wayland .

  • One of the most reported issues — chaotic window resizing at high resolutions when using fractional scaling — has now been fixed.
  • An annoying bug that caused mouse clicks to be ignored while tooltips were visible has also been resolved.
