Microsoft has officially reminded customers through its Windows Release Health dashboard that Windows 11 version 22H2 for Enterprise, Education, and IoT editions will cease support on October 14, 2025. This announcement adds to the previously known end of life for Home and Pro variants of the same version, which already concluded on October 8, 2024.

The Enterprise, Education, and IoT variants of Windows 11 22H2 were originally released on September 20, 2022, providing just over three years of support – an extra year compared to the standard two-year lifecycle for Home and Pro editions. This extended support period for business-focused SKUs is now coming to an end.

Users running any of these affected versions should prioritize upgrading to currently supported releases. Windows 11 version 23H2 offers support until November 10, 2026, while version 24H2 extends support through October 12, 2027.
