In a recent safety alert, Anker has announced a large-scale recall of more than one million units of its PowerCore 10000 power bank (Model: A1263) . The recall comes after reports of fire and burn hazards associated with the device.
Both Anker and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have issued official statements urging users to check if their power bank is affected and take immediate action if it is.

According to the CPSC, there have been 19 reported incidents involving this model, including:
- 2 minor burn injuries
- 11 cases of property damage , amounting to over $60,700

- Available in black, blue, red, and white
- Manufactured between January 1, 2016 β October 30, 2019
- Sold in the United States from June 1, 2016 β December 31, 2022
