With the new Q12
Silicon Valley startup SiFly has unveiled the Q12 drone, which promises to disrupt the commercial drone market dominated by China’s DJI. The Q12 boasts the following specs: it can hover for up to two hours, fly for three hours, cover 145 km, and carry up to 4.5 kg of cargo. That’s four times longer and ten times farther than most competitors, including the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise, which is limited to 45 minutes and 15 km.

The Q12 meets NDAA standards for use in U.S. government and defense contracts. The drone is equipped with a cloud-based AI system for real-time data processing. SiFly claims that the Q12 reduces DFR costs by 90% due to its long flight time, eliminating the need for complex charging networks.
Deliveries of the Q12 will begin in late 2025, although pricing has not been disclosed.
